Holy Family is an oil on wood painting by the dutch painter and etcher Rembrandt van Rijn. It was painted in 1640. The Holy Family and other representations of the childhood of Christ occur frequently in Rembrandt's art during the 1640s. Domestic happiness and intimacy are their dominate mood. This painting (41 x 34 cm) is currently housed in the Musée du Louvre, Paris.
